Glad Tidings was formed in 2020 after seeing a need for a Christmas Caroling troupe that catered towards one of the most marginalized groups in our society - the elderly. Many retirement homes and assisted living facilities do not have dedicated music therapy for their residents, and that's where we come in! Music and holiday celebration is a necessary activity for elders who are facing seasonal depression, anxiety, and isolation. We have firsthand experience of the power that music has on our community, and we are passionate for all to hear it!

We arrive at your venue fully outfitted in traditional Dickens-era costumes ready to share our music and bring smiles to faces. During each performance you can expect to hear a mix of lush traditional holiday carols as well as upbeat contemporary jazz arrangements, all sung in

exquisite a capella 4-part harmony.

All of our Carolers are professional collegiate-level vocalists who have performed at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Carnegie Hall, and across the world at various international venues. We are professional and fun young musicians grateful for our customers like you who hire us back each year!

Throughout the season we also sing for churches to enhance Christmas worship services, stroll through community events and dinners, and perform at private parties of any size. Glad Tidings is proud to offer the lowest rates possible, as our passion is first and foremost serving all in our community with the highest level of music.

Did you know? Christmas Caroling began in London, England hundreds of years ago. During the cold winter when no crops would grow, farmers would walk door-to-door singing Christmas carols in exchange for spare change, food, and booze!
